DeShawn Snow is a philanthropist, a businesswoman and a busy mother of three boys, but she’s probably best known for her starring role on Bravo’s Reality Show “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” A respected public figure in her own right, DeShawn is the wife of celebrated fourteen-year NBA veteran, Eric Snow.
In 2006, DeShawn formed the DeShawn Snow Foundation (DSF). DSF’s mission is to give teenage girls with low self-esteem, the tools to overcome academic, social and emotional difficulties so that they can absolutely reach their full potential.
DeShawn truly hopes that every girl will understand and realize that they must possess a healthy dose of self-love, a real acceptance and the power to forgive to become the woman that every young girl is meant to be. These goals are realized through two distinct programs: the DSF Angels and the Annual Empowerment Camp for Girls

“DeShawn Live” is a highly successful public appearance tour in which DeShawn speaks openly, honestly and with her own experiences to audiences all over the country. She hopes to empower, encourage, and enrich the lives of others on a global level. It is DeShawn’s determination that through the notoriety she’s received from her television audiences, that now she will, in turn, open doors for all young girls and women to hear her truly encouraging words.
DeShawn, the businesswoman, is the CEO and creative head of two privately held entities:
DeShawn Snow Enterprises, LLC, has corporate offices in New York and Atlanta. The New York office oversees the entertainment division of DeShawn as an artist, including business development and media management. The Atlanta office oversees creation and distribution of novelty brand merchandising and is the home of several books, which are in pre-production.
Snowball Productions, LLC, is the springboard for a media revolution that will help DeShawn to fulfill her personal mission through quality entertainment with integrity. She is the creative force and Executive Producer with an impressive list of upcoming television and film projects. Included in the line up are a Reality Show, a scripted drama, and an animated feature film. She will work with her husband, Eric, who will take on projects involving leadership, youth, sports, and fatherhood.
DeShawn, the servant, stands strong in her faith and her family – her real priorities. DeShawn is a minister at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and is currently seeking her Master of Divinity Degree at Regent University. Additionally she serves as a monthly guest columnist for Streaming Faith Network, the world’s largest provider of Internet broadcasting for faith-based organizations. Through Streaming Faith, she will be able to continue impacting the lives of others via the World Wide Web. It is her mission to help others find hope in a world of hopelessness while spreading the unconditional love of Jesus throughout all the nations. Most proudly, DeShawn married her college sweetheart, and together they have three sons: Eric Javon, Darius Michael and Jarren Christopher.
