If you are anything like I am, then I am about to ask you to do the unthinkable: DO NOT WATCH THE REAL HOUSE WIVES OF ATLANTA. Here is my reason—the producers of the show did not invite Deshawn Snow back on the show because she was “too boring”. The producers in turn replaced her with Kandi Burris, a successful artist in the music industry with one daughter and a fiancée that has six kids. Deshawn is the wife of former NBA player Eric Snow and she has three sons. She and Eric were college sweet hearts and they have been happily married every since. Now while her story does not seem to have all the “drama” surrounding it; it is a far cry from boring. I loved the first season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta because the show had balance. A former stripper now housewife, a divorcée and socialite, a single mom trying to break into the music industry, an entrepreneur on her second marriage and a new baby, and a stay at home mom with three sons and a husband who is transitioning into a new place in his career. These are all very different, yet real heartfelt stories that need to be told. I welcome Kandi to the show and I would love to hear her story. However, I resent Deshawn being kicked off the show; there is certainly room for one more—The Real Housewives of NJ have six women. There should be representation of all pathways to success just as there are in the Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of New York, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey. To kick Deshawn off the show is Racist, Stereotyping and down right LOW CLASS. To represent African American women in one light is just insane. People, do not allow this type of typecasting to portray who we really are; we can also be great stay-at-home moms married to our college sweethearts with three wonderful yet rambunctious sons. Not to mention, we deserve to have a man who loves us, honor us, and whole-heartedly supports us through our good and bad times—we need to see more of the Eric & Deshawn Snow’s of the world and YOU can make it happen. Let Bravo know that we will not accept this negative, stereotypical, propaganda that they are trying to portray as black families—we are NeNe and we are also Deshawn Snow and everything in between. If we can see the bad then we at least deserve to see the Good. DO NOT WATCH THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you agree pass this message to everyone in your address book

Please let me know what you think. I am in Montgomery, Alabama and it amazes me how people think. I really need to speak with some like minded individuals. I want to promote class and upward mobility for All females.
